Starlite Urban Drive-in

The Old Truman Brewery is an 11 acre site that has become the creative hub of London’s East End. Today more than 200 small, creative businesses are housed there. It’s the perfect place to launch Starlite.

Fashion designers, artists and DJs work alongside graphic designers, architects and recording and photographic studios. Together they make the Brewery a self-contained creative resource that’s unique in Britain.

We’ve all been to at least one great event or fabulous party there. 400 gorgeous people partied on our red carpet at the Starlite Premiere Party on July 1st. We took over the car-park overlooked by the stunning Grade II listed Boiler House, home to the landmark Truman Chimney. Starlite is the latest, greatest, event to be hosted at one of London’s coolest venues.

Starlite guests enjoyed a special Americana menu and Fifties-tastic fun at the adjoining Brickhouse Bar, Restaurant and Supper Club. Who can forget Pippa The Ripper descending from the ceiling to Beauty School Drop-Out? Or those jiving Tootsie Rollers?

As we provide all the cars, nobody needed to drive. Which meant everyone got more than little drunk. We now know 10 people can dance on the roof of a Volvo (in complete safety and comfort).
